My recent stay at Jasmine Guest House in Bridlington offered a charming glimpse of coastal hospitality, albeit with some notable drawbacks. The double room I occupied was generously bright, thanks to the large bay window, providing a comfortable retreat after long days spent exploring nearby South Beach and local attractions. Though the property is pet-friendly and the hosts—particularly Gez and John—were ever so welcoming, it felt a tad dated and in need of a thorough overhaul to match the warmth of its service. One of the highlights was the breakfast; it was nourishing and plentiful, and they even had sausage for my furry companion, which added a delightful personal touch. I couldn't overlook the dusty corners and some cleanliness issues, which diminished my overall experience. While the amenities like free Wi-Fi and tea-making facilities were appreciated, the lingering odors hinted at the need for a deeper clean, especially in a space that welcomes pets. While Jasmine Guest House provides a friendly atmosphere and convenient location, its potential could truly shine with some modern updates and meticulous attention to detail. With a touch of Marine Conservationist's eye for environmental cleanliness, I can’t help but believe this place could be transformed into a seaside gem worthy of return visits.
